Vulture Awareness Day

Join us for International Vulture Day! This day is to bring awareness of how important vultures are and the role they play in their habitats. Come enjoy vulture themed activities for all ages from 6:30am-12:00pm. Vulture Watch Party at 6:30am-7:30am (Primary Activity): Join our education staff in a bird sit to learn about why we love vultures and say good morning as they wake up and spread their wings! Participants are encouraged to bring their own folding camping chair. Other Activities: Birding Crash Course: How to Bird in Under 15 minutes BTA Bird List Craft Table Vulture Discovery Table Free with admission. No binoculars? No problem! Check out a pair of binoculars at our Welcome Center.
